Awesomatix A12 & A12WC 30MM Fan Mount
So if you are known at your local track as Michelangelo with a Dremel and your motor runs as hot as the surface of the sun then we have something for you! This 30mm fan mount is an exciting new product developed by our Team Drivers to give them the edge on the race track and now can give you that edge too!. During our testing, we have found that by adding a high quality 30mm cooling fan (WTF fans are our go to!) we saw a reduction of nearly 45 degrees (F) in motor temperature after an 8 minute run which can help with less motor fade due to heat and also extend the life of your motor.
Extensive R & D went into selecting the most durable material and manufacturing process ensuring we provide the highest quality part to our customers. Please note, due to limited spacing between the motor and most 12th scale GTP bodies, major modification is needed to the 30mm fan case for installation.
When installing the mount, please make sure that there is at least 0.5mm of clearance between the mount and the battery. Also we recommend using (4) M3 X 12mm button head screws for assembly. (Fan & Screws not included)
